Members now have more time to enjoy their benefits
Putting our members in the driver’s seat means they spend less time navigating benefits and more time appreciating them.
Making the member experience everyday amazing has always been central to EyeMed’s strategy. It’s part and parcel of our commitment to driving greater value. EyeMed prides itself on offering members a robust range of options, but we also provide the tools that make navigating those choices easy. It’s our aim to inspire confidence in our members.
Check out the 4 tools currently available to select EyeMed members:
- eyeNav: A tool used by members offered EyePrefer (featuring 2 to 3 plan options from which to choose). Members’ own answers to a few questions produce the recommendation right for their situation. In the future, eyeNav will be available for EyeMed individual plans private exchanges. Plan selection made easy.
- Know Before You Go: We’re currently piloting this cool tool as a simple and fast way for members to estimate their out-of-pocket expense for a single in-store transaction before members visit an in-network provider. Members can filter by frames, lenses and lens treatments in advance of the appointment. We’re removing the sticker shock from the point-of-sale.
- Members app enhancements: Improved navigation and functionality are giving members easier on-the-go access to their benefits. New functionality includes the ability to store RXs and schedule eye exam and contact lens reminders. Fingertip access to your benefits. What’s not to like? See detailed info in the 3/22 edition of The Word.
- Offering platform: Many members can now receive additional discounts and special offers from vendors and partners, including RONA stores, through the online member portal. More value? Yes, please.
These new and innovative tools shape and reinforce EyeMed’s growing reputation as the benefits company responding first to consumer trends and reinventing the MVC member experience. It’s a key point of differentiation from our competitors and key to thriving long-term. In the words of renowned business writer, Tom Peters: “distinct, or extinct.”
