Aetna and OneSight team up to bring vision care to those without access in Pittsburgh

Two weeks ago, Aetna, a CVS Health company, and OneSight collaborated to address unresolved vision needs for individuals and families throughout the Pittsburgh area. The vision clinic took place at the CVS Health Workforce Innovation and Talent Center located inside of Ebenezer Baptist Church.

In total, 333 children and adults without access to vision care received free eye exams, 96% of whom received glasses.

Rodger Kormylo, EyeMed sr. director of strategic partnerships for Aetna, experienced the clinic first-hand, working alongside Christina Nicastro, director – head of vision at Aetna, and Brittany Alba, OneSight associate director, and many other volunteers.

“I am grateful we have such amazing partners in Aetna,” he said. “Their generous sponsorship of this vision clinic meant hundreds of people now have the chance to experience life to the fullest with a new pair of glasses.”
